About LYSA
The Lunenburg Youth Soccer Association (LYSA) is a non-profit organization set up to provide soccer programs for children who live in Lunenburg or attend Lunenburg schools under school choice. The association membership includes all volunteer coaches and parents who pay to have their children participate in the programs.

The association has a Board of Directors who create, maintain and support the various programs. The board is made up of four officers who are elected to two-year terms and who then appoint the various other board members. Elections are held every two years at the annual association meeting in December.

LYSA is affiliated with Mass Youth Soccer and pays yearly affiliation fees to cover insurance and other Mass Youth Soccer provided benefits.  Mass Youth Soccer, in turn, is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), which recognizes FIFA (Federation Internationale Football Association) as the worldwide governing body.
